I work with thoughtful, self-aware people who often feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, perfectionism, and people-pleasing—especially in their relationships.
On the outside, you may seem capable and put-together. But internally, you might find yourself second-guessing your decisions, striving to get things “right,” worrying about how you come across, or feeling unsure of how to fully express your needs. You may care deeply about others while struggling to extend that same compassion toward yourself.
My approach is both insight-oriented and practical. I tend to listen deeply and intuitively, helping you map out your inner experiences so they begin to make sense in a new way.
Therapy with me is collaborative, reflective, and gently challenging. Our work won’t fit into a rigid box—it’s tailored to you, while still grounded in evidence-based approaches.
My work as a therapist is deeply shaped by my background in social work and my commitment to social justice and collective healing.
Many of us carry both intergenerational and present-day experiences that impact how we feel about ourselves, how we relate to others, and how safe we feel in the world. These experiences often show up as anxiety, self-doubt, people-pleasing, or difficulty feeling secure in relationships.
I bring a holistic lens to therapy, understanding that mental health is not just an individual experience—it is deeply connected to our environment, our relationships, and the systems we live within.
I strive to make my practice an affirming and inclusive space for the LGBTQ+ community.

I have a strong understanding of the connection between mind, body, and soul backed by intuition and science. I integrate this awareness into our work together. I have comprehensive knowledge of attachment, trauma, and how early relationships shape the patterns we carry into adulthood.
I’m also a late-diagnosed neurodivergent therapist, and I’m committed to continually learning how to support both myself and my clients in navigating a world not designed with us in mind.
I graduated from SUNY's School of Social Welfare in 2016 with an MSW specializing in psychiatric social work. In 2020, I completed my LCSW qualification which allows me to provide psychotherapy as a social worker. I worked with diverse groups in a variety of outpatient and inpatient mental health settings prior to opening my private practice, Our True Expression PLLC, in 2021.
I chose private practice intentionally, creating a way of working that allows me to show up fully present with my clients while also honoring my own nervous system. I keep my caseload at a level that allows me to offer each client thoughtful, attentive, and individualized care.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband, family and friends, making art, lifting weights, cooking, traveling, meditating in community, spending time in nature, and connecting with music.
I’m also currently learning Hindi and have experience living abroad, which has deepened my appreciation for cross-cultural relationships and identity.
